Hello again, world.

For anyone reading along, or anyone stumbling onto this site for the first time: welcome! (And thanks for joining us). I can’t say I aspire to much more than a place to collect pithy bulletins around my interests: things Apple, things engaging-YouTube-videos, a big passion for design, and a marked desire to simply accumulate knowledge on interesting and/or obscure topics.

I think that most of all, this place will be a way to think out loud around issues of place, space, access, and race. Race (via gay rights) has long been a passion of mine, and I’m writing a thesis this academic year on how economic development in urban areas accesses the spatial relationships of people of color. If that sounds vague and theoretical, it is - but I also expect to get into much more depth on these issues in the coming months. It will be good for me, and hopefully it will be enriching for you. If not, I’ll always have videos and Apple gossip, too.

Finally, sorry about this blitzkreig of cron posts from Twitter and del.icio.us recently. It doesn’t make for a very attractive or RSS feed, and I’m going to turn them off until I can figure a way to do things less frequently (like once a week). I can let you know how I did that when it happens, because it’s proving to be a surprisingly tricky endeavor.

Thanks for stopping by, please consider leaving a comment to say hello, and be well! I’ll be back with some great content soon.
