Years ago, I lost any musical talent I may have gained from a few years of trumpet lessons (I remember playing pieces with lots of sixteenth notes, but don’t remember how well). But as most who know me can attest, I also have a tremendous - overriding - interest in inside baseball sorts of tidbits: talk of managing hedge funds and, today, finding common elements of songs I know and running them together.
